Fly In 2011 – Fasten your seatbelts Oldtimers of the air meet youngsters on rubber cables at Fly In 2011 45 historic airplanes in top shape landed at the premises of hangar Flugwerft Schleißheim for a meeting of the superlatives. Numerous fans of the airplane scene were satisfied in every aspect. In line with flying, the audience could admire the show of TEAM EXTREME with acoustic sounds in addition to roaring engines. TEAM EXTREME realized the artistic part with a vertical artist. Video animations blended with artistic live performances on a vertical steel cable. Using winch technology integrated into the rotating cube, the audience saw the show in three dimensions. The “pilots” of TEAM EXTREME presented their brand-new show “walking in the air” on 14 m high poles and could definitely keep up with the impressive starts and landings of the exotic airplanes. The area of hangar Flugwerft Schleißheim was used by the team in the summer as training camp in order to obtain even more open air feeling. |
